- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Pay Rate: $19.00
- Location: Carol Stream, IL
What You’ll Do:
- Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Conveys material and items from receiving or other areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sorts and places material or items on racks or shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes for shipment.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders for shipping.
- Marks material with identifying information.
- Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
- Records amounts of material or items received or distributed.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance with company standards.
- Uses computer to enter records.
- Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
- Maintains inventory records.
Skills to Succeed:
- Forklift and packaging experience required—we’ll provide the tools you need to succeed!
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment filled with material, machinery, and forklifts.
- A sharp eye for detail and organization skills to ensure the job is done right!
