We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk with a strong administrative background to join our team. This role focuses on accurately managing shipping documentation, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth coordination of orders. The ideal candidate excels in customer service, is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and is an effective communicator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and manage order details in the company’s computer system with precision.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including labels, invoices, and packing slips.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate orders for replenishment as needed.
- Communicate with customers and carriers to address shipping inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless order processing.
- Support administrative tasks related to logistics and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or logistics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in an administrative or shipping role is preferred.
