Job Responsibilities & Description for Mailroom Specialist:
This position involves operating and maintaining high-volume duplicating, production, and bindery equipment. Key responsibilities include document imaging, copying, mailing, and distributing materials. Additional duties include:
- Performing equipment troubleshooting, stocking, and maintenance.
- Handling shipping, receiving, and mail distribution, including applying postage.
- Setting up meeting rooms and performing light maintenance or cleaning as needed.
- Managing logs, generating reports, and tracking inventories.
- Providing temporary receptionist and call center support.
- Using specialized equipment like shrink-wrap machines, bindery tools, and postage meters.
- Performing filing, scanning, and imaging tasks, including archiving documents.
- Traveling between buildings and responding to customer service requests.
- Ensuring copier areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
The role may occasionally require overtime, including nights and weekends. Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills are essential.
Job Requirements for Mailroom Specialist:
- HS Diploma or GED Required
- Basic understanding of Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
