JOB DETAILS FOR FORKLIFT OPERATOR:
SCHEDULE/HOURS:
* 1st Shift -Monday -Friday (6AM-4PM) + rotation of weekends of Sat/ or Sun (6AM-6PM)
DAY TO DAY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES FOR FORKLIFT OPERATOR:
- Forklift inspections must be performed at the start of each shift. Any repairs required are to be reported to the Department Manager.
- Move pallets from production area to shipping or drying area.
- Wraps, strap and prepare pallets to be shipped or stored
- Put away stock in the racks and scan to locations.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS FOR FORKLIFT OPERATOR:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of Forklift Reach experience. (CLIENT USES MITSUBISHI REACH) Stand up reach experience most important, sit down forklift experience also required, sit down roll clamp experience is a plus.
• Steel toe boots or shoes *REQUIRED*
• Prior manufacturing environment experience is a plus
