Are you ready to work hands-on in a dynamic lab environment where innovation and precision meet? PeopleShare’s is hiring for a talented Engineering Lab Technician to join the team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for testing cutting-edge mechanical and adhesive anchoring solutions for structural applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Test Excellence: Conduct product testing in concrete, drywall, and metal decking following industry standards (UL, FM, ICC-ES, etc.).
- Data Guru: Gather data, analyze results, and prepare detailed reports to share findings with teams.
- Equipment Pro: Maintain test equipment, tools, and supplies while ensuring all systems are calibrated and functional.
- Organizational Wiz: Keep laboratory files, including procedures, test results, and records, up to date.
- Safety Champion: Maintain a safe, clean, and professional laboratory environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training or a Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology is a bonus!).
- Experience: Lab or construction testing experience preferred, especially with concrete or mechanical anchors.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of concrete anchor test standards.
- Proficient in power tools and heavy machinery operation.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD systems.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
