The CNC Machnist is responsible for operating manual mills and lathes, performing CNC programming, and utilizing CAD software for 3D modeling. This role involves reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications, and conducting quality control inspections to maintain high production standards.
Job Details for CNC Machnist:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Salary: Up to $66,000
- Direct Hire: Full Benefits
Job Responsibilities for CNC Machnist:
- Operate manual mills, lathes, and EDM machines to produce high-quality components.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings for accurate machining.
- Perform CNC programming to ensure precision in operations.
- Utilize CAD software for design and modeling.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Experience with manual mills, lathes, and EDM operations.
- Strong ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Proficiency in CNC programming.
- Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, is preferred.
- Must own a toolbox; tools will not be provided.
- Journeyman's card preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with quality control and inspection processes.
