Inventory Specialist Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
- Pay Rate: $20.00 Per Hour
- Location: Bethlehem PA
DAY TO DAY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for taking inventory and cycle counting.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move and organize various items.
- Problem solving for variances.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
- A minimum of two years of warehouse experience or one year of company experience is required
- Must have adequate reading and math skills and the ability to write legibly
- Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks, including walking, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods, and the ability to lift to 100lbs
- Must operate powered and non-powered material handling and dock equipment safely and efficiently -requires forklift certification.
- Most adhere to all OSHA requirements.
- Ability to listen to directions, manage time, and complete all work as assigned within established timelines. Team player and have the ability to interact with fellow workers
- Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a standard range of temperature and noise level
- Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instruction – prepare, provide, and convey diversified information.
- Working conditions regularly expose individuals to situations that could result in minor cuts and burns.
- There is frequent exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners
- Physical effort is required in the lifting of tool cases and assorted equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as the ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds
- Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level
