Lathe Operator
Location: Horsham, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20-$35/hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathe machines.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Select and install tooling, make machine adjustments, and perform tool changes.
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep machines clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
Qualifications
Previous lathe setup and operating experience required.
Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications.
Experience using precision measuring tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Dependable, professional, and safety-minded.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
