Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per Hour

PeopleShare is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Non-CDL Truck Driver to join our client’s growing team in Bridgeport, PA. This position is responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently using company-provided medium-duty trucks and flatbed vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the flexibility to work additional hours when business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-owned medium-duty trucks and flatbed vehicles for local, intrastate deliveries.
- Complete daily Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR), including required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers.
- Properly secure loads and ensure materials are transported safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials.
- Maintain accurate delivery and inspection documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a truck driving or transportation-related role.
- Experience operating medium-duty trucks and/or flatbed trucks preferred.
- Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License (or equivalent state license).
- Clean driving record required.
- Current DOT Physical/Medical Certificate required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and physical examination.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety requirements, or willingness to complete required training.
- Strong reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work occasional overtime based on delivery schedules and business demands.
