Material Handler Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Material Handler Responsibilities:
- Perform shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse duties to support daily operations
- Receive, unpack, inspect, count, and store incoming products accurately
- Pull, verify, pack, and ship customer orders using scanners and shipping systems
- Complete cycle counts and assist with inventory audits, transfers, and discrepancy resolution
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and carrier scheduling
- Maintain accurate system transactions and inventory records
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards
Material Handler Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Experience using computers and handheld barcode scanners
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality, and safety
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed and maintain reliable attendance
