What You'll Do
As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping warehouse operations moving efficiently and safely.
✅ Operate an electric sit-down forklift
✅ Load and unload trailers safely and accurately
✅ Wrap pallets and prepare shipments
✅ Verify paperwork and inventory accuracy
✅ Print and apply shipping labels
✅ Scan pallet numbers using RF technology
✅ Inspect pallet quality and product condition
✅ Complete required documentation
✅ Participate in team meetings and safety initiatives
Important:
This is not just driving a forklift. Successful operators understand proper trailer loading techniques and cube utilization to maximize trailer space and shipping efficiency.
What We're Looking For
✔ Previous electric sit-down forklift experience
✔ Understanding of trailer loading and cube utilization
✔ Steel-toe shoes required
✔ RF scanner experience preferred
✔ Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
