Warehouse Associate Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM/6:30PM
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Contract-to-Hire
Warehouse Associate Job Description:
- Process customer orders accurately by reviewing manifests, item numbers, quantities, and packaging requirements
- Inspect products for quality, cleanliness, and damage prior to shipment
- Package orders efficiently and securely to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain order accuracy and meet daily productivity goals
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against receiving documentation
- Process receiving paperwork, backorders, and outbound shipments to customers and vendors
- Stock inbound materials in designated warehouse locations using receiving manifests
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records
- Operate material handling equipment and warehouse tools in accordance with safety guidelines
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep, including trash removal and recycling
- Support internal teams with furniture assembly, equipment movement, and other warehouse tasks as needed
Warehouse Associate Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, order processing, or inventory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to walk up and down stairs throughout the shift
- Basic computer skills and ability to process inventory and shipping documentation
- Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet productivity standards
