PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer in the area.
We are hiring for an Assembly Technician – Level I.
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-4:30 PM
Overtime: Saturday-Sunday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM, based on production needs
Assembly Technician Summary:
- Assemble, terminate, and test electrical and optical connector assemblies.
- Work from engineering drawings, procedures, and work instructions to produce high-quality products.
- Utilize hand tools, testing equipment, soldering techniques, and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain production documentation while supporting safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test electrical and optical connectors, cable assemblies, and related components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, procedures, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform cable termination, soldering, and over-molding operations according to company and industry standards.
- Use electrical and optical test equipment to verify product performance and quality.
- Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and traceability requirements.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow established work instructions and procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation.
- Experience with soldering, cable assembly, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Ability to work with chemicals such as flux, epoxy, and cleaning solutions while following SDS requirements.
