Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and hands‑on Operations Improvement Specialist to support operational initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for leading improvement projects, analyzing business and production data, and assisting with the implementation of process enhancements that drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, throughput, inventory accuracy, and overall operational performance.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working across departments such as Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and IT/OT.
Essential Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead and support operational improvement projects across multiple facilities.
Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation strategies.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals.
Facilitate meetings, track action items, and provide updates to leadership.
Ensure projects are completed on time and deliver measurable results.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Analyze manufacturing, inventory, labor, quality, and logistics data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Validate data accuracy and collaborate with stakeholders to improve reporting processes.
Operational Improvement
Support initiatives related to productivity, inventory control, logistics, warehouse operations, maintenance, and process standardization.
Assist with implementing and optimizing ERP, WMS, MES, EAM, and reporting tools.
Conduct process observations and partner with operations teams to identify improvement opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement through structured problem solving and data‑driven decision making.
Qualifications
Required
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self‑motivated with strong ownership and work ethic.
Ability to travel periodically (approx. 10%).
Preferred
Manufacturing operations experience.
Experience with ERP, WMS, MES, EAM, or similar systems.
Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
