Litigation Docket Specialist
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Multiple U.S. Locations Available)

Our client is a nationally recognized, full-service law firm with offices across the United States, serving clients with both domestic and international operations.
The firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Docket Specialist to join its Litigation Support team of 10. This position may be performed remotely or from one of the firm's U.S. offices.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced litigation docketing professional with hands-on CompuLaw Vision experience, preferably supporting California litigation matters, who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced law firm environment.
You'll play a critical role in helping attorneys manage litigation calendars, meet filing deadlines, and reduce risk across a sophisticated national litigation practice.
The Opportunity
As a Litigation Docket Specialist, you'll work closely with attorneys, paralegals, litigation support professionals, and the Litigation Docket Manager to manage litigation deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
This role supports attorneys handling complex matters in federal, state, and administrative courts throughout the country.
Key Requirements
- Hands-on experience using CompuLaw Vision is highly preferred.
- 3–5 years of litigation docketing experience.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced law firm environment is required.
- California litigation docketing experience is highly preferred.
What You'll Do
- Monitor assigned shared litigation mailboxes and process docketing requests in a timely manner.
- Review court filings, legal documents, and correspondence to identify, calculate, and calendar litigation deadlines.
- Maintain accurate litigation calendars using CompuLaw Vision.
- Accurately calculate and calendar California and multi-jurisdiction litigation deadlines in accordance with court rules and firm procedures.
- Verify jurisdictions, court venues, and applicable federal, state, local, administrative, and agency rules before docketing deadlines.
- Review court and agency dockets using PACER, PACERPro, and other legal research resources.
- Verify the accuracy of docketed items, calculated deadlines, and assigned timekeepers.
- Prepare, review, and distribute matter reports and litigation calendar reports.
- Research and apply federal, state, local, administrative agency, statutory, and individual judges' rules and procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Respond to attorneys and staff regarding docketed dates, court rules, filing procedures, and litigation deadlines.
- Partner with the Litigation Docket Manager to continually improve docketing procedures, best practices, and department processes.
- Assist with special projects and other department initiatives as needed.
- Stay current on changes to court rules, filing procedures, and litigation requirements across assigned jurisdictions.

Qualifications
- Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of litigation docketing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced law firm or legal environment.
- Hands-on experience using CompuLaw Vision to calculate, calendar, and manage litigation deadlines is required.
- California litigation docketing experience is highly preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience calculating and calendaring litigation deadlines in federal and state courts.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules, litigation procedures, and calendaring requirements.
- Ability to research and apply federal, state, local, administrative agency, statutory, and individual judges' rules across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience using PACER, PACERPro, and other legal research resources.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and internet research.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet competing deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
