- Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) | 2 days remote (Thursday & Friday)
The Opportunity
Our client, a prestigious Am Law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to provide dedicated support to one highly successful Commercial Litigation Partner. What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant experience.
- Strong commercial litigation experience is required.
- Extensive State and Federal e-filing experience is required.
- Strong document management experience is required.
- Experience supporting a busy litigation practice with competing deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to anticipate attorney needs, prioritize competing demands, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional, adaptable, and able to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
- Provide dedicated support to one Commercial Litigation Partner, serving as a trusted business partner and primary point of administrative and litigation support.
- Manage the full lifecycle of litigation matters from inception through trial and resolution.
- Proactively anticipate the partner's needs, manage competing priorities, and resolve administrative challenges with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate and track litigation matters to ensure court deadlines, filings, and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and process new matter intake, conflict checks, and file openings.
- Prepare, edit, format, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents with exceptional accuracy.
- Manage electronic filings in both State and Federal Courts.
- Maintain document management systems, including version control, file organization, and secure document storage.
- Facilitate the execution, filing, and distribution of legal documents.
- Type, revise, and proofread legal documents while meeting strict deadlines.
- Coordinate client communications, manage sensitive information, and serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and internal departments.
- Assist with time entry, billing support, and expense processing.
- Coordinate attorney calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and itineraries.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality while thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication while collaborating with attorneys and support staff to ensure exceptional client service.
