Customer Service Coordinator – Shipping & Receiving (Joliet, IL)
Pay: $19/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm (Onsite)

About the Role
We’re hiring a Customer Service Coordinator to support shipping, receiving, and daily logistics operations. This role ensures accurate documentation, smooth inbound/outbound flow, and excellent communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Ideal for someone organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Follow all company safety and OSHA guidelines
Create and process inbound/outbound shipping documents
Manage the shipping/receiving window and appointment logs
Confirm appointments and dispatch loads based on schedules and instructions
Direct drivers to loading/unloading areas and communicate procedures
Receive product into inventory and monitor stock levels
Verify pickups/deliveries and update internal systems
Set up container bookings and manage empty containers
Track and trace domestic and international shipments
Communicate professionally with customers, carriers, and vendors
Support clerical and administrative tasks
Participate in cross‑training and ongoing learning
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, transportation, or intermodal preferred
Strong computer skills; ability to type 50 WPM
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
