Shift Lead – Extrusion (Direct Hire) | Bartlett, IL
Pay: $26–$28/hr + $1.25 shift differential
Schedule: Rotating Nights (No Weekends)
Shifts: 5PM–5AM or 7PM–7AM
Training: First month on Day Shift (8AM–4:30PM)
We’re hiring a Shift Lead with extrusion experience to oversee nightly production, support operators, and ensure consistent, high‑quality output. This is a direct‑hire opportunity with long‑term stability and a rotating schedule. Key Responsibilities
Lead and support assistant operators
Set up and operate extrusion lines
Perform quality checks and adjust machines as needed
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
Maintain production records and shift reports
Enforce safety procedures and proper PPE use
Requirements
2+ years extrusion experience (sheet or film preferred)
Manufacturing background
Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
Ability to lead a small team
Schedule
Rotating nights:
Week 1: 32 hours
Week 2: 48 hours
No weekends
Shift options: 5PM–5AM or 7PM–7AM
First month on Day Shift for training
