Schedule: 12-hour swing shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on nights
• Rotating schedule (includes weekends)
Job Summary
We are hiring a Production Operator to support daily plant operations in a batch processing environment. This role is responsible for safely handling materials, supporting production, and preparing products for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Package finished products (drums, totes, tankers)
- Perform material transfers using hoses and pumps
- Sample and measure storage tanks
- Assist with blending, filtering, and loading/unloading
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow directions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous plant, manufacturing, or chemical experience preferred
- Forklift or yard jockey experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle 55-gallon drums
- Able to stand for long periods and work in outdoor conditions
- Comfortable climbing stairs/ladders
- Must be able to wear a respirator (clean-shaven required)
