Teller Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays required
- Pay Rate: $16/hour
- Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Teller Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional member service in person, over the phone, and through written communication
- Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and official checks
- Verify member identity and review documents for accuracy and compliance
- Balance cash drawer daily and assist with vault operations as needed
- Promote credit union products by identifying member needs and recommending appropriate solutions
- Support digital banking by assisting members with online tools and account access
- Follow all policies, security procedures, and fraud prevention practices
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth, efficient branch environment
- Perform additional operational tasks including audits, supply management, and general support duties
Teller Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of teller, banking, or related customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of banking or credit union operations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and transactions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze accounts and assist members with questions or concerns
- Organized, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
