PeopleShare, Inc. is actively recruiting a Production Assistant for a specialized manufacturing client located in Robbinsville, NJ.
This is a critical, high-impact role responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and ensuring optimal production flow. As a Production Assistant, you will be a key contributor to the team, utilizing your mechanical aptitude to assist with machine changeovers and material handling. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe, organized, and fast-paced production environment.
Location: Robbinsville, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time 100% Onsite
Schedule: M-F 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist press operators with machine changeovers to maximize production efficiency.
- Perform general utility duties to support continuous workflow across the manufacturing floor.
- Handle raw materials, including loading and unloading materials, to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and fully compliant with site safety standards.
- Support operators and supervisors with additional tasks and operational demands as needed.
- Safely and comfortably lift up to 40 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all facility policies, following instructions carefully to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory: Previous experience working within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial tools or machinery.
- Experience operating or working around press machines is highly preferred, but not required.
- Proven track record of high reliability and consistent, punctual attendance.
- Ability to follow technical instructions accurately and execute tasks safely. Physical capability to perform hands-on work, including regular heavy lifting up to 40 lbs.
