Forklift Operator Job Description:
- The forklift operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating powered industrial trucks to pick orders, move, locate, relocate, stack and count materials within the warehouse or facility.
- Accurate handing of inventory while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Utilize RF equipment to accurately process all inbound (Receiving) and outbound (Shipping) and internal orders and requisitions.
- Perform cycle counts and assists with inventory accuracy by performing Quality Assurance inspections as required.
Forklift Operator Job Requirements:
- Must be able to drive a dock stocker and stand-up forklift with long forks.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous forklift certification for Reach, Dock Stocker or Sit Down
- RF Scanner experience
- Minimum 2-years warehouse experience with one year of stand up.
Walking, standing, bending, reaching and safely lifting up to 50lbs for extended periods of time.
