Job Details for Licensed Medicare Agent:
- Salary: $18.50 per hour during first 4 weeks of training and then will go to $20 hour plus $25 commissions on each policy
- Mon- Fri 10:15am-7pm or 11:15am-8pm EST shifts
- Temp to hire position
- Company provides computer equipment
- Must be an already licensed Medicare Agent with 1 year minimum experience selling Medicare Advantage plans
Job Responsibilities & Description for Licensed Medicare Agent:
- Handle outbound sales inquiries to effectively sell health insurance plans and products via phone to customers (no cold calling)
- Quickly grasp new concepts and product offerings, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans, and other ancillary health products
- Provide an excellent consumer experience for all callers and be passionate about helping the senior community
- Guide consumers through the health insurance policy selection and application process and serve as subject matter expert for health insurance enrollments
Requirements for Licensed Medicare Agent
- 2 years of experience minimum of licensed Medicare sales, plus if worked with Dual population of Medicare and Medicaid
- Outbound call experience
- Must have releases from carriers (Aetna, UHC, Humana, Cigna, etc.) in hand or able to obtain one before training starts
- Driven, self-starter, confident personality
- Ethernet hook up required and suitable distraction free work environment capable of protecting confidential information
