About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment and be committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or other equipment as needed)
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage racks
- Move, stack, and organize products and materials within the facility
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Accurately follow pick tickets, production orders, or shipping/receiving documents
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company standards
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to become certified before start date)
- Ability to lift up to [Insert weight—typically 40–50 lbs]
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
