Senior Executive Legal Assistant $80-100k per year based on experience.
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – onsite at least 3 days/week)
This role provides high‑level executive and legal administrative support to busy attorneys, ensuring smooth daily operations and allowing them to focus on client service and business development. The position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary administrative point of contact for assigned attorneys; coordinate workflow and delegate tasks as needed.
- Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and project timelines.
- Handle client communication, sensitive information, and liaison responsibilities across internal teams.
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and presentations; maintain accurate filing and version control.
- Support business development efforts, including events, pitch materials, and client database updates.
- Oversee email management, prioritizing messages and drafting responses as needed.
- Assist with new matter intake, conflict checks, billing, budget tracking, and financial updates.
- Collaborate within a team environment, sharing workload and participating in workflow discussions.
- Complete special projects and additional administrative duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
5+ years of administrative or executive support experience within a law firm or legal services environment, specifically supporting real estate or transactional law practices
Demonstrated experience supporting deal-driven workflows, including closings, contract management, and transactional document coordination
3+ years of legal assistant or legal administrative experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Exceptional attention to detail with strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM
Prior legal transcription experience
