Production Operator – Cleanroom Environment
Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ
Schedule: Full‑Time
- 1st Shift - Monday-Friday 7:55am-4:05pm
- 2nd Shift - Monday-Friday 3:55pm-12:05pm
- 3rd Shift - Monday-Friday 11:55pm-8:05am
Compensation: $18.50–$23.00 per hour (based on experience, skills, and qualifications)
We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented Production Operator to support cleanroom manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in the assembly, inspection, and quality control of products. Candidates must be able to work in a controlled environment and follow strict cleanroom and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, prepare, and assemble product while ensuring the final product meets quality standards.
- Inspect parts and processes during production; accurately track and record test results, work in progress, and special requirements.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervision.
- Maintain cleanroom integrity by following all environmental practices, gowning procedures, and cleanliness requirements.
- Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality expectations.
- Communicate operational status, safety concerns, or process issues to management promptly.
- Assist with training new or less‑experienced employees.
- Maintain ITAR compliance requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year working as an operator, technician, or in a similar role within a cleanroom environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols, including gowning/de‑gowning, material transfer, and contamination control.
- Ability to work independently while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strong focus on safety, quality, documentation accuracy, and adherence to ISO9000 and ITAR regulations.
- Ability to recognize and communicate machine malfunctions.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, standing, and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to maintain pace with machinery.
- Must wear appropriate cleanroom PPE.
