About the Role
PeopleShare is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to provide on-site support for our client in Northwood, OH. In this role, you’ll ensure compliance with food safety standards by inspecting raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products, recording results, and communicating any non-conformance issues.
Quality Assurance Specialist Job Details:
Location: Northwood, OH
Pay: $24.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2nd Shift (10:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
Benefits: Full-time, Medical Benefits, 401(k), Weekly Pay
Quality Assurance Specialist Key Responsibilities
- Perform analyses on raw materials, WIP, and finished products
- Inspect samples, record results, and communicate non-conformance
- Measure product attributes such as weight and temperature
- Grade product and ensure compliance with Sysco and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety and quality standards
Quality Assurance Specialist Qualifications
- Previous Quality Assurance experience (3–5 years, preferably in food industry)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a cold environment
- Knowledge of USDA/FSIS rules, HACCP, and SSOPs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic arithmetic skills
- Punctuality and willingness to stay until the job is complete
