Maintenance Technician – Warehouse Facility
Location: Romeoville, IL
Schedule:Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $27/hr, Weekly Pay Type: Temp-to-Hire
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a busy warehouse and production facility. This is a hands-on role where you’ll use your mechanical and electrical skills to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on warehouse machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair conveyor belts, forklifts, and other mechanical/electrical systems
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
Use power tools and electrical tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Experience with forklifts, conveyor belts, maintenance repairs, and electrical troubleshooting
Ability to work with power tools and hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team environment
