We are looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy Installation / Service Technician to work with parking access control, vehicle entry systems, and building access control systems. If you enjoy solving problems, working with electronics, and providing top-notch service to customers, this role is for you.
💰 Pay & Schedule
Salary: Up to $25/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings/weekends/on-call support
Overtime: Available after 40 hours/week
🔧 What You’ll Do
Install, troubleshoot, and service parking gates, ticket dispensers, license plate recognition cameras, card readers, slide/swing gates, and telephone entry systems
Integrate systems into existing networks and facility management software
Provide operator-level training and interact directly with customers
Work in diverse environments including construction sites and outdoor locations
✅ Qualifications
2–5 years of low-voltage wiring, installation, diagnostic, and repair experience
DCJS registration preferred
Experience with basic networking (LAN/WAN & best practices)
Proficiency with PC/Windows software installation, troubleshooting, and remote access tools
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain on feet during long workdays
Valid Virginia Driver’s License with clean driving record
Must supply personal basic hand tools (company provides specialty tools, testers, and power tools)
