Mix Room Assistant Operator
30 day Rotating Schedule (30 days first shift, 30 days second shift, 30 days third shift)
Monday through Friday
Pay:$17-$19/hr
Position Summary:
As a Mix Room Operator, your role is essential to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency in the production process. You'll be responsible for accurately handling raw materials, operating equipment, and collaborating with your team to meet daily production goals. Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily safety, housekeeping, and calibration checks in accordance with company standards
Maintain proficiency in all tasks listed in the employee training record for this position
Collaborate with team members to ensure production and area responsibilities are met
Safely operate all equipment in the mix room
Accurately track and report raw material usage and finished product data
Communicate and assist in the resolution of quality concerns
Apply all relevant quality system procedures
Willingness to work any assigned shift
Participate in ongoing training programs and team-based initiatives
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Complete Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) training and certification if required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, and follow written/verbal instructions
Proficient in basic math and calculator use
Comfortable with computers and familiar with electronic systems such as:
Able to read a tape measure
Strong organizational and housekeeping skills
Physically capable of performing tasks involving motor coordination
Good hand-eye coordination
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Team-oriented mindset
