Purchase Order Representative Job Description:
Review and accurately enter Purchase Orders (POs) into the internal system
Confirm PO details, including product type, quantity, billing, and shipping information
Coordinate with shipping, inventory, and production departments to ensure timely fulfillment
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to PO data and order accuracy
Maintain thorough documentation and electronic records for all processed POs
Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding PO status and timelines
Support efficiency improvements in the order entry and PO management process
Purchase Order Representative Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or business coursework preferred
Proficiency with computers and order entry/ERP systems
Experience with office-based communication tools - Outlook + Teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
