This is a physical, fast-paced role where you’ll work rain or shine to aerate entire properties using both machine and manual tools. You'll work on a team, stay active, and enjoy daily variety as you service multiple locations each day.
Seasonal Lawn Technician – Temporary Aeration Crew
Pay: $18/hour + Daily Overtime
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:00 PM (must be willing to stay until the route is complete)
Type: Full-Time Seasonal (Approx. 10 Weeks)
Location: Williamsburg – Report to HQ each morning and work in teams of 2 across local job sites
What You'll Be Doing:
- Load and unload aeration equipment each morning and evening at HQ
- Operate machine and manual core aerators on residential lawns
- Focus on manual aeration along edges, fences, and tight spaces
- Clean off hard surfaces (driveways, patios, sidewalks) after aerating
- Work in 2-person crews, completing your assigned route
- Once finished, travel to support other teams as needed
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure clean, safe operation
What You’ll Need:
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs frequently
- Reliable transportation to and from HQ daily
- Comfortable with outdoor labor in all weather
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic (6:45 AM start time)
- Willingness to work daily overtime
- Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or general labor is a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
