Position Summary for the Electrode Coating Technician:
A growing manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Electrode Coating Technician to support battery electrode production in a cleanroom environment. This full-time role offers hands-on, technical work in a modern production space and a long-term career path in advanced manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities for the Electrode Coating Technician:
- Prepare and mix electrode slurries using lab and pilot-scale equipment
- Operate coating machinery while wearing a respirator in a dry-room setting
- Perform accurate measurements and identify small process deviations
- Maintain thorough documentation of production runs and research activity
- Support equipment troubleshooting, setup, and test runs
- Collaborate with team members and work independently when needed
Requirements & Qualifications for the Electrode Coating Technician:
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation
- Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints, instructions, and technical manuals
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around strong magnets and chemicals
- Must be able to wear a respirator and work in a low-humidity, cool environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
