The ideal candidate for the Wastewater Operator positions will have a wastewater certification/license in Delaware and have a clean driving record and a working knowledge of wastewater operations as well as some computer knowledge. If you are currently in process with receiving your licensing, have completed your licensing just recently or are open to schooling for Wastewater certification, they are open to that as well!
Job Details for the Wastewater Operators:
*Pay is flexible based on experience
- Level 1 minimum starting pay $45k
- Level 2 minimum starting pay $51k
- DRC minimum starting pay $58k
Schedules available:
- 1st Shift 6am-230pm
- 2nd Shift 2pm-1030pm
- 3rd Shift 1030pm- 6am
Job Responsibilities for the Wastewater Operators:
- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems and equipment
- Perform routine testing and adjust chemical levels as needed
- Troubleshoot issues and complete basic maintenance
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with environmental regulations
Job Requirements for the Wastewater Operators:
- High school diploma or GED required and clear driving record
- Delaware Wastewater Operator license (Class I or higher) preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience in wastewater treatment, preferably in a food manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, pumps, motors, valves, and chemical dosing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret lab results, SOPs, and technical documents.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions.
