Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (based on experience)

Mechanical Assembler Position Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our client's Services Division. You will assemble, wire, and calibrate complex mobile equipment using mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role offers exposure to welding, electrical wiring, and rigging with overhead cranes and jibs. Ideal candidates will have experience in a custom build or manufacturing environment, be mechanically inclined, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and safety.
Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Assembler
Assemble custom-built machinery using blueprints, schematics, and standard work instructions
Handle and rig components using jib cranes and overhead lifts
Perform electrical wiring, hydraulic/pneumatic hosing, and component integration
Inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot parts and assemblies
Spray paint parts, prep machinery for shipping, and assist in rebuilds
Maintain production logs and adhere to all safety procedures and 5S standards
Collaborate with engineering and other teams to resolve technical issues
Participate in continuous improvement activities and follow QMS guidelines
Qualifications for the Mechanical Assembler
High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or custom shop environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 3D drawings, schematics, and BOMs
Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
Basic computer literacy for inputting and retrieving data
Critical thinking skills with mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements for the Mechanical Assembler
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
Frequent standing, bending, stooping, climbing, and working underneath equipment
Use of PPE (e.g., steel-toe boots, safety glasses) is required
Work performed in typical manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature variation and occasional exposure to fumes or by-products
