Job Description FOR RETAIL STORE MANAGER:
The Retail Store Manager for Mobile Generations at Verizon Wireless will be responsible for leading and supporting the team to ensure they are fully trained in the sales processes, Verizon Wireless products and services, and consistently meet operational excellence standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail, ideally within the wireless industry, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This includes effectively guiding the sales process, providing in-depth product and service knowledge, and managing customer concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
JOB RESPOSIBILITES FOR RETAIL STORE MANAGER:
- Building a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.
- Interview, hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
- Meet or exceed both your personal and team key performance indicators each month
- Coach/mentor your team every day so they can provide an exceptional customer experience each time.
- Ensure your assigned location is operating under the specific guidelines of both Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
- Ensure all promotional role outs, inventory procedures or other duties and tasks assigned by Mobile Generation leadership is executed timely and correctly.
- Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.
Job Requirements FOR RETAIL STORE MANAGER:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar retail management role, preferably with Verizon Wireless or another wireless business, with experience leading and managing team members.
- Proven track record of success in prior sales and leadership roles.
- Ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team to achieve individual and collective goals.
- Passion for retail, wireless technology, and delivering top-notch customer service.
- Willingness to travel to various locations across the Midwest as business needs require.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with both customers and team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic schedule.
