We are seeking a personable, adaptable, and highly organized Auxiliary Coordinator to support the daily operations of a university's Auxiliary Services department. This is a contract position supporting high-volume services and a transitional period, including a major campus project and a department leadership change.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and bring a balance of administrative coordination, vendor oversight, and face-to-face customer service experience. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of campus services related to ID cards, transportation, events, vendor management, and more.
Provide professional, in-person customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Manage and prioritize incoming service requests and coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.
Support campus ID card operations, including troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with technical support, and processing related invoices and procurements.
Assist in event scheduling and logistics, including setup coordination and vendor communication.
Monitor and manage service contracts (e.g., parking, shuttles, vending machines), ensuring vendor compliance and timely issue resolution.
Provide support to operational staff as needed, ensuring uninterrupted service across auxiliary functions.
Assist with a major campus project and help ensure continuity during departmental transitions.
