Job Details for Shipping/Receiving Clerk:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Job Responsibilities & Description for Shipping/Receiving Clerk:
- Ensure the correct packages are received and stocked appropriately.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Promptly & safely unloads trucks and deliveries, sorts, and stocks receivables.
- Manage the shipment and receipt of orders related to products, materials, supplies or consumer goods.
- Unloading/unpacking, verifying products.
- Preparing shipping documents.
- Inventory/cycle count audits.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
Job Requirements for Shipping/Receiving Clerk:
- High School Diploma - or equivalent
- Competent clerical skills – data entry
- 24-36 months of logistics and customer service experience
- Physical Strength lift up to 20 lbs.
- Engages vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Basic math & computer skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Ability to continually learn and develop new skills.
- Great problem-solving skills
- Competence to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adhere to strict timelines without compromising safety & quality.
