Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Optional OT on Fridays

About the Company:
Are you a seasoned cabinet maker or custom woodworking tech with a passion for craftsmanship and quality? We're hiring a Custom Cabinet Tech to join a tight-knit team in a small, family-style manufacturing environment known for its employee appreciation events.
As a Custom Cabinet Tech, you'll fabricate and repair high-grade wood cabinets and furniture, working with solid surface materials and using your expert skills to bring custom projects to life. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with room to grow—and even an annual bonus once hired permanently!
Custom Cabinet Tech Job Responsibilities:
- Operate shop machinery: table saws, routers, skill saws, and more
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for fabrication
- Plan material cutting/shaping sequences and mark dimensions
- Select, match, and prepare materials for assembly
- Use hand tools to trim joints, bore holes, and reinforce assemblies
- Sand, scrape, and prep surfaces for finishing
- Apply stains, varnish, and paints as needed
- Install hardware (hinges, pulls, etc.)
- Repair and maintain cabinetry and furniture
- Fabricate solid surface materials and ensure precision craftsmanship
Custom Cabinet Tech Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop (not field carpentry)
- Proficient with woodworking machinery: table saws, routers, skill saw
- High school diploma or GED (trade school certification preferred)
- Strong blueprint reading, math, and spatial skills
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and highly productive
- Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Must wear steel toe boots; no profanity on clothing
