Job Details: Stand-Up Forklift Operator
- Job Title: Forklift Operator
- Pay Range: $20-$21 an hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 PM -6:00 AM
- Location: Romeoville , IL 60446
- OT: May be required week to week
Position Responsibilities: Stand-Up Forklift Operator
- Operate material handling equipment, including stand-up forklifts, for moving, locating, stacking, and counting merchandise.
- Perform receiving and put-away duties, safely unloading inbound shipments and efficiently storing products.
- Execute order picking, pulling, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring accuracy.
- Utilize RF equipment to maintain accurate inventory control and security.
- Assist in physical inventories and conduct cycle counts as requested.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and report any food safety or quality issues.
Position Requirements: Stand-Up Forklift Operator
- Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a stand-up forklift in cold storage or refrigerated/frozen conditions.
- Ability to skillfully put away and pull pallets and loose products from tight racking.
- Capable of working in cold, refrigerated, and frozen conditions for extended periods.
- Must possess good communication skills and the ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and work standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
- Successfully complete a 2-hour GMP orientation and safety training at the PeopleShare office.
