Lead Maintenance Technician Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30 PM
- This is a full time, temp-to-perm position with occasional On Call hours
- Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr depending on experience
Lead Maintenance Technician Job Description:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to provide timely and effective solutions.
- Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning on production equipment within the facility.
- Manage inventory of all tools and equipment essential for job duties.
- Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, or ring gauges.
- Pick up supplies, equipment, and company products from various off-site locations.
- Work with outside vendors to facilitate the receipt and use of supplies and parts pertaining to company maintenance responsibilities.
Lead Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:
- Four years of experience in cold refrigeration maintenance or a related field.
- Certification or accreditation in one or more of the following disciplines: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, machine, welding, and/or vehicle servicing.
- Knowledge:
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Basic plumbing knowledge.
- Basic computer knowledge including the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to change outlets, switches, light fixtures, and electrical motors.
- Capable of welding, grinding, and improving the overall structure of metal racking within the facility.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving maintenance and mechanical issues related to company equipment and facilities.
