Job Details for Warehouse Associate
- Schedule: M-F 10am-7pm & PART TIME 5am-10am.
- Pay Rate: $17/hr
- Contract to Hire
- Location: Carlstadt
Warehouse Associate Job Description:
- Perform final quality check to verify that the orders / transfers / vendor claims provided to packing area are 100% accurate per the order requirements.
- Input data-entry to accurately document the items and quantities included in each packing transaction.
- Prepare and package all outbound orders carefully to ensure that the merchandise is sufficiently protected from in-transit loss or damage.
- Apply packaging labels / attach packing lists and stage completed orders for shipment manifest
- Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed
Job Requirements for Warehouse Associate:
- Minimum educational requirement: High school graduate, or equivalency, with the ability to read and write in English and perform basic math calculations
- Minimum experience requirement: Five, or more, years in a similar position / parallel working environment utilizing a handheld barcode scanner and desktop PC applications
- Ability to safely operate a pallet jack, tape machine, and other ordinary tools essential to perform the job
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and bend / reach overhead
