Job Title: Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Romeoville, IL

Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: 1st Shift 7AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday with possible Weekends.
Pay:$42.00
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all equipment and systems within the warehouse to ensure smooth and efficient operations. If you have a strong mechanical background, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping warehouse systems running at their best, we want to hear from you!
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, 5+ years of electro-mechanical experience, knowledge of food processing or packaging.
Specific skills: Ability to work safety and effectively with minimal supervision.
Equipment & Machinery: Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, plc, knowledge of mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics.
Computer Experience & Software: Experience with Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000
Responsibilities:
• Conducts themself in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves equipment failures
• Performs preventive maintenance routines
• Performs site specific checks of facility systems
• Efficiently communicates plant issues in a timely manner
• Works responsibly to find long term value-added solutions
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
Comfort working in various temperature conditions within the warehouse.
