About the Job:
PeopleShare is hiring for a General Laborer for a leading silkscreen manufacturer that supplies both finished printed screens and unfinished components to various industries, including automotive, glass, metal and plastic containers, medical, and other industrial applications. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented candidate to join our team and assist with various production tasks.
Job Summary:
As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to production, machine operation, and quality control. You will work with different tools and machinery to ensure our products are manufactured efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery, including punch presses, metal forming brakes, soldering stations, and vacuum tables
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure efficient production
- Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and basic hand tools
- Assist with assembling and fabricating products as needed
- Perform quality checks and report any defects or inconsistencies
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and general shop upkeep as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience using basic household tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks within the production process
