Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to efficiently and safely handle materials within our Monroe, NC facility. This role involves collaborating with Receiving, Picking, and Shipping departments to maintain inventory accuracy and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately load, pack, wrap, and label orders for delivery or pickup.
- Receive, process, and store warehouse stock.
- Perform inventory controls and uphold quality standards.
- Transport materials to production areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to 5S Housekeeping Standards.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, including First-In-First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation.
- Inspect machinery and report repair needs.
- Propose and implement process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Comply with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Over 1 year of experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar warehouse role.
- Familiarity with warehousing finished goods and raw materials.
- Experience in maintaining warehouse inventory accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Hands-on problem-solving approach.
- Proficiency in inventory software and systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods.
