Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a rewarding opportunity? PeopleShare is partnering with a manufacturing company in Fleetwood, PA. We are seeking highly motivated 2nd and 3rd Shift Maintenance Technicians to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the company's equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery such as conveyors, packaging machines, and production lines to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including service logs, repairs, and parts usage.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure operational safety.
- Install, calibrate, and upgrade machinery and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulations during all maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to maintain continuous operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure readiness for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including temperature extremes and noisy environments.
