Job Details for Maintenance Technician:
- Position: Maintenance Technician
- Schedule:1st shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 (Based on experience)
- Location: Conover, North Carolina 28613
Required Skills & Tools:
- Proficiency in industrial and production machinery maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Must provide personal tools, including:
- Adjustable wrenches (6” & 12”)
- Screwdrivers (slotted and Philips)
- Claw hammer, Channel Locks, Allen key sets, etc.
Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:
- Conduct pre-operation equipment checks to ensure readiness.
- Perform equipment lubrication and maintain detailed records.
- Manage preventive maintenance logs.
- Report equipment conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist production teams when needed.
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
- Keep shop areas clean and organized.
- Uphold plant cleanliness and safety standards.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or Trade School education in Machinery, Industrial Mechanics, HVAC Mechanics, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must provide personal tools, including:
- Adjustable wrenches (6” & 12”)
- Screwdrivers (slotted and Philips)
- Claw hammer, Channel Locks, Allen key sets, etc.
